ABUJA (CONVERSEER) – Four senators have resigned their membership of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), and aligned with the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
Their defection was conveyed in letters read by the President of the Senate, Senator Godswill Akpabio, during plenary, on Wednesday, March 11.
Senator Aminu Iya Abbas representing Adamawa Central, Amos Yohanna representing Adamawa North and Senator Ikra Aliyu Bilbis representing Zamfara North defected to APC.
Meanwhile, on Tuesday, March 10th, Senator Ipalibo Harry Banigo, representing Rivers west senatorial district also moved to APC from PDP.
