2 men allegedly impersonate Nassau County employees, Kelvin A. Alvarez and Manny A. Alvarez Marriaga, try to buy $43,000 worth of computers

NEW YORK (CONVERSEER) – Two men from Queens, New York, have been accused of trying to buy $43,000 worth of computers.

According to the police, the suspects identified as Kelvin A. Alvarez and Manny A. Alvarez Marriaga, impersonated Nassau County employees to make the purchase.

They tried to order 20 laptops from Ray Block.

They say the Floral Park store is a county vendor for office supplies.

Both men were arrested on Monday night.

The authorities say they will appear before the court today.
